Asyraf is a Partner in the ZMM Litigation Team and leads ZMM’s Alor Setar Office. He is a one firm man where he completed his pupillage under Alan Wong Teck Wei and thereafter joined ZMM’s litigation team in Kuala Lumpur after being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014. He has been in active practice ever since.

He is well equipped in handling civil litigation matters particularly in contractual disputes, fraud and asset recovery, land matters, banking disputes, debt restructuring and scheme of arrangement, insolvency and receivership, industrial relation disputes, commercial and corporate disputes, preventive relief as well as defending various tortious claims.

Asyraf has appeared as solicitor, co-counsel and counsel at all levels of the Malaysian courts up to the apex Federal Court in myriad cases ranging from contractual disputes, commercial fraud, land matters, corporate and commercial law to property disputes.

Further to his litigation work, Asyraf also regularly advises clients in various aspects of corporate and commercial practice including on due diligence exercise, preparation of diverse commercial agreements and other corporate-related agreements.

Asyraf is a graduate from the MARA University of Technology (UiTM). He enjoys sports and is an accomplished futsal and badminton player. During his university days, he represented the UiTM Law Faculty and was a bronze medallist during the 2012 UiTM Inter-Faculty Tournament. As Captain of ZMM’s futsal team, he led ZMM in securing a bronze medal at the 2016 Malaysian Bar Futsal Tournament.
