Azureen is an associate in the Litigation Team. Azureen practices general litigation over a wide range of disputes, including contractual, commercial and tortious disputes, shareholders disputes, banking litigation as well as providing advisory services. Azureen has been involved in all aspects of civil litigation in the civil courts up to the appellate stage in the Court of Appeal.

She has also been involved in advising and representing directors of companies on matters relating to offences under the Environmental Quality Act 1974.

Azureen is also part of the Construction and Energy team where her principal focus is on adjudication and arbitration.

Azureen read law at MARA University of Technology (UiTM) and was called to the Sabah Bar in 2014. Prior to joining ZMM, she practiced in a leading law firm in Sabah focussing on banking and general litigation. Thereafter, Azureen commenced her pupillage at ZMM in 2017 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2018.

On a personal side, Azureen is an outdoor and beach enthusiast. She loves travelling to experience new cultures and to explore unique places.
